Qualified B.D.S. in 1984 at Newcastle. Paul was in General Practice in Teesside for seven years.
In 1991 he took a year out as a volunteer dentist with Tibetan refugees in the Indian Himalayas.
Following his return to this country, he returned to general dental practice in Darlington before joining Malpas House in May 1997.
Paul in married to Donlha and they have two sons, James (1995) and William (1999).
Paul's interests include marathon running (personal best 2 hours 49 minutes), mountain walking and mountain biking. Paul has a special interest in orthodontics and until recently worked one morning per week as Clinical Asistant in Orthodontics at Middlesbrough.
