We
invite you to consider this brochure which outlines our 34th concert
season and to buy concert tickets. We hope you will find in it much
to interest and attract you. We have engaged musicians of genuine international
stature. There are artists and ensembles who have appeared for us in
earlier years and who have been reinvited because of popular demand.
There are also new artists and ensembles to be heard
for the first time but in all our choices only one consideration mattered;
"will both the performers and the music help us to present concerts
of the highest standard which our resources permit ? ..."
We have justly earned our reputation for a high standard of music, both in performance and presentation. We think that the artists appearing for us in the season now outlined will enhance that reputation. We are also justly proud of the friendly atmosphere on concert nights. Anyone who visits us can be sure of a very warm welcome. If you doubt it, come and try it out. Ticket prices are listed in the tickets section. You will easily see the benefit of season tickets. WE ALSO WELCOME CASUAL CONCERT--GOERS but if a concert is likely to be sold out season ticket holders get priority. Whitstable Music Society members also qualify for single concert seats at discounted prices at Canterbury, Ashford, Faversham and St Peters Music Club, Canterbury. The Clubs will want to see your membership card. We close this section with our thanks to our existing members and our sponsors. Without them the success we enjoy would only be a dream. With them and new friends we can reach higher standards still. ALL CONCERTS START AT 7:30 p.m. |
