Explanatory Notes

This report does not set out to draw any conclusions about the American Education System as a whole. My comments and conclusions are based on visits to a relatively small number of educational establishments and organisations in Washington State. It is worth bearing in mind that the populations of Scotland and Washington State are almost identical ie about 5 million in each case.

The web links mentioned in this document were working at the time of writing. This may not always be the case.
