The main purpose of the Fellowship was to investigate how Information & Communications Technology (ICT) was used in primary education in Washington State and to identify approaches and strategies which would be appropriate for ICT education in the United Kingdom. More specifically I wanted to find out how ICT was used:

• to deliver the ICT curriculum

•  to support all areas of the curriculum

•  to assist with teaching tasks

•  to assist with school administration and management

•  for electronic communication
