The Great Man himself.
I spent some time with him at his home in
Springs South Africa in 1993, and we discussed
the many great tries he scored for the Saints.

I was recently, thanks to Ebay, able to re-unite Eric Ashton
with the original
contract he signed for Wigan in 1955.He hadn't seen it in over 50 years...a
famous Newtown lad who made it really big in Rugby League.
Taken at Eric and Doreen's Wedding anniversary with the other half
of the famous Wigan wing combination, between me and Norm.
Mam with Jean at our Joes Wedding.
My granddaughter Lucy taken at her passing out at the Army Foundation College Harrogate.
She is currently stationed at BFPO 39 in Germany but a posting to Afghanistan is not too far away.
