Hello I'm Ian Hawle from Bronte Street
I organize the Classic Car section of St Helens
Show and I am the car steward at Haigh Vintage & Steam Country Rally.
I am also a member of St Helens Classic Car Association. This is not just any
old car club. I got permission for us to use the town crest, as we are a club
with a difference. We do things for charity :- Haigh is in support of Derian
House children's hospice. Recently we were involved in the Ruskin Drive event
for Willowbrooke Hospice and on the 28th of December we did a run for ZOE'S
PLACE which is a Hospice for children under FIVE.
We have 28 names on our books but only 20 fully paid up members. Anyone with a "Classic Car" can join by contacting club sec Rob Jones on 01744 632423, or e-mail Dave Jones at djones66@blueyonder.co.uk or come to a club meeting. We meet every third Thursday at the Royal Alfred, Shaw Street St Helens.
